It's difficult trying to be friends with a boy who broke up with you, who charmed you into being his girlfriend in the first place, who insisted upon being friends after the break-up and now insists that he cannot stand to be anything less than more than just friends. It's difficult trying to be friends with my friends who do not really want to be my friend, but would rather have me for all their own. I'm drunk and I'm tired of being the things that people want me to be, and now I quit on the night because the me that I need and the me that people want have reached an impasse.
