The truth hurts!

From a comment by "bee man" following an AV Club interview with someone I don't know:

What the nerds of the world should know is that these kinds of girls [geek girls] never go out with nerds. They date slightly hippie-ish musicians who are totally going to make it one day and then everything will be better, and they know he seems like a loser right now and like he's kind of a dick but he's actually really sweet when they're alone.

If you're a real nerd you're probably stuck with fat chicks until you make a bunch of money, at which point your geekiness becomes really cute.
