Help me decide what should go on the cover of my chapbook!

One of my extended creative nonfiction essays is being published in a cheap, small scale production on my college campus. The design editor is working on the layout and design and asking me questions about cover art, font, etc, and I have no idea what to tell him.

My essay is about Shakespeare, so I'd think an old-style font would work. However, I have no idea what I want on the cover, because all the "official" portraits of Shakespeare are pretty wonky. I thought about a quill, but that's kind of generic.

So all you visual artists/design folks out there, help a girl out! Please. ^___^

my performance yesterday

i performed at the LGBTQ Center's Mother Fest yesterday. it was a festival celebrating woman's music so it was all female performers and i was 'the spoken word artist'. haha.

it was crazy.. there were professional musicians there and i got some of the longest applause AND. when i sat down, this woman sat behind me and asked me for a pen so that she could give me her information because she "can get me published"

i had a lot of people come up to me.. this one lady came up like 4 times.. she said it's the second time she's seen me perform and she was just like. gushing. hahaha it was weird.

i'm gonna email the lady today and when i get a chance, i'll type up the poem and link it so you guys can read it..
