Man, I am awesome.

So: both shows went extermely well (though the 8pm was a little smoother). We sold out both shows, and the audiences were responsive and supportive. I feel very good about my performance, and am pretty sure no one caught my gaffes (though they were pretty small in general). I recieved a lot of comments from friends and family and even strangers. I thought I might pass out during the intermission of the 8pm show, but somehow managed to channel that into some of the best dancing I've ever done. The reception was fantastic and people seemed to be having a good time, and I stayed at the after after party until 3am (and was the first to leave!).

Now, my feet are swollen, my lungs are still full of phlegm, and I had to take today off of work so I could sleep 13 hours, but I AM SO HAPPY. AND AWESOME.

I want to thank everyone that came, and who wanted to come but couldn't, either because of distance or because we sold out of tickets!

flickr support is great

After getting a friend add from someone nasty, I submitted flickr's automatic spam report form- but threw in one extra word...

This was the response I got back from Flickr Support:

Thanks for the info. We greatly appreciate the time that
you've taken to help us keep Flickr a community free of
whorebots. We've scrubbed the Flickrverse of the spam and
have terminated this particular iteration.
