Agreed. I also hate How it's Made, since Modern Marvels on the History Channel is |win|. That's right... the absolute value of win.

I have to say that I liked the one episode of "Some Assembly Required" that I saw. I hope they get to make more. From what I could tell, they got a guy ALMOST as likable as Mike Rowe.

I watch it. I do like the way that they explore different, exotic materials. But it it seems way corporate, where mythbusters has that magical DIYish, basement hijinks feel.
I've heard more than one person say that I could pass for the younger version of the dude with glasses on Smash Lab.
smash lab is the steaming turd of science/engineering shows.
