last night...oh my
so, yesterday i djed. the concept of the party is that every hour the dj and though so musicstyle changes. i was scheduled for 4 am which usually is my favorite time. it's the last shift so to speak, the people are already drunk,, you've got more than an hour because it's basically open end (we usually close at 6am) and you can play some slower songs before the place gets closed. but yesterday, i dont know, something was wrong. it was quite empty, not really a problem, but the few people were kind of annoying too. they didnt liked much of my music. i really like to switch between musicstyles, buzzcocks followed by a hot chip remix of amy winehouse ? no problem for me. but yesterday it was for the audience. so kind of sticked to early punkrock and new wave for them which i like but it lacked a little bit of diversity.
in a month i will dj at an electro party, that will be fun, the last to times were really great, take a look:
