whoa my mind is so use to "barret vs. waters" debates that i almost gave my default response to that.
this isn't a fucking question, gilmour probably dragged the group through their worst time. "momentary lapse of reason" and "division bell" are freaking horrible

Really tough to make the call, but if it's seeing a current-day incarnation of the tunes in a live performance, I'll take Gilmour, thank you. Live at Pompeii is my favorite, anyway...
Personally, I think Waters was a self-righteous prick, but he gets my respect for the creative direction in which he took the band...but Gilmour gets my vote for front man every time.
