Oh my god, my parents. I just hit the fridge looking for some grub -- which, with reason, I seldom do at their house -- and *everything* was dated 2006. So then I checked all the salad dressings, and they are all from 2005! Then, once I'd found anything edible (turkey, mustard), I was scared to put it back in the fridge, for fear the good food could catch whatever disease the nasty food has been cultivating. I'm going to clean the fridge out in the morning I GUESS, but I am NOT happy about this.

I used to have all kinds of old food in my fridge. Stuff I'd never eat, but was too lazy to throw out.

Ever since I moved, my fridge is the exclusive domain of beer. And it never lasts long.

Problem solved!

This makes me secretly wish my parents were nearby--if only for the food.
