the last bumber sticker i had on my car was for Alan Wheat, who ran against John Ashcroft for a Missouri senate seat in 1994. He lost. Ashcroft later became Atty Gen'l. and we know how that turned out.

I had a They Might Be Giants bumper sticker on my old 1988 Dodge Aries K car back in the day. My current 2002 Dodge Neon just has a Berkeley city parking permit on it. That's not as much fun, and cost me an order of magnitude more.

When I saw David Cross do standup at Bonnaroo last summer, he was doing a segment that was roughly just "You Might Be a Dead-Neck if..." (Grateful Dead Fan + Redneck). The best one was "...you drive a Hybrid Toyota Prius with a bumper sticker that reads 'this car is a faggot.'"
