Jeez, you guys need to get with it.
It's a little iffy though, you can get away with using electricity, just as long as you have your lights off. Laundry by candle light sounds romantic, no?

I try to live like that. If all I'm doing is sitting around on the computer, I'll turn out the lights and open my window, just that little change makes it so much nicer.

It's pretty well publicised here in Atlanta, but we're supposed to be one of the main cities in the US? I have no idea why. We've only got like 4-5 million peoples.
Since that falls squarely on bath/book/bed time for the kid, I don't think we'll be playing. :P
Ha! Here in America this event hasn't been publicized or mentioned anywhere! We're horrible, horrible people.
Besides, at the appointed hour I'll be doing laundry. I'll need electricity for that!
