174.4 lbs / 40.2%
I'm still going...Replies
That's 5 lbs lost in a little over 3 weeks. And almost 1% body fat.
I owe it all to string cheese & really long bike rides.
Oh, and I'm down one pants size... from a 14/16 to a 12/14.
This would go a lot faster if scientists would invent a type of fettuccine alfredo that had ZERO CALORIES.
Nice work!
And speaking of rich pasta....I'm not sure HOW healthy this, since it's still pasta and cheese, but I made it last night and it's not nearly as bad as alfredo or regular mac and cheese since most of the creaminess comes from cauliflower. http://bittman.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/07/08/creamy-cauliflower-mac/
Yay Bizz!
My progress is slow, numbers-wise (though I'm taking measurements tonight), but my energy and strength have definitely improved.
Man, you guys are making me feel guilty about ignoring my excercisin'. In a good way, mind you.
BIZZY. THE STRING CHEESE WORKS! I TOLD YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good job, Biz!!
I am in a weird place. I haven't found the motivation to go to the gym and it's too hot to do anything out doors. Also, I REALLY love food especially food that is fried and cheesy!! I need an intervention!
Thanks Team! I'm glad we're all still mindful of this, regardless of how good we're being about it. It's a constant learning process, and I've had my fair share of doubts, failures, & setbacks (as will probably continue to happen until I'm an old, old lady). I remember Oprah saying once that the mistake most people make in trying to change their habits is thinking they finally have it "all figured out".
I kind of agree, because as soon as you get one routine down, life throws something at you that you have to adapt to & it might throw your perfect plan out the window. So, I guess I'm saying that what I'm learning is how to adapt small changes to my lifestyle & not let it get me down when I have to adapt to the unexpected things too.
PROUD OF YOU ALL!
GO BIZZY! knew you could do it! the start of it all is always the hardest bit, so you're definitely on the right track. use that momentum to keep going, you are doing brilliantly!

Hooray! Congrats, Bizzy! I need to get back in gear!
