As for the project, I don't see anything wrong with it. From what I understand the books are entertainingly written (I admit to not having read any yet) and people of all ages like them. And I'm in favour of just about anything that excites kids about reading.

I have to say that I listened to all the books on audio (Jim Dale), and I was GLUED TO THEM. I couldn't leave the car. I had about 3 other friends listening to them at the same time, and we were a slovenly nerdy bunch.
