have you ever dated (let's face it - slept with) anyone at work? Terrible idea? My friend says lots of couples meet at work. I'm really uncomfortable with the idea

Oh, that is one of my worst habits - sleeping with co-workers. Seriously, I probably set a world record for it.

In my defense, I worked at Guitar Center for four years... Mmmmm cute musician boys...

Oh, and yeah - I don't recommend it. Maybe dating, but just sleeping with co-workers, no.

@ashleigh - right, there is a difference between sleeping with and dating. When I was posting it - well, I often use dating as a euphemism for having sex in addition to it's actual meaning.

Right. So: casual sex + work = bad idea. But: really liking someone and dating them + work = could be great!

Ben and I started dating when he was my editor at a blog. Neither of us were being paid, and we didn't share an office, so it's not a typical working situation. But it was a semi-professional relationship at first.

Depends entirely on whether you have lockable office doors.

I either work alone or with my brother, so we've got solo playtime or incest. Ewww. (Well, to the second one.)

I used to work with an ex, that's how we met. Except, he worked at our headquarter office in Canada and I here in LA.

BAD IDEA JEANS. Now's he works for a client of mine. BARF
