Where should I go on my Frequent Flyer miles, and why? Note: YOU are not a valid reason to go somewhere.
No matter how much I love you, there have to be more reasons to visit you than just YOU. Extra points if you live someplace I've never been before, but also all the more reason for you to tell me why I need to go there.
Also, why do some of you people show up on My Team, but not on public posts?

paris and val go together like PEAS AND CARROTS
i dunno why i think that though...
OH SO NOW WE'RE HATING ON HAWAII AND ALASKA
anwyays... i dunno... haven't you been everywhere cool in the US?
If people aren't your travel priority, what is? Climate, city size, historical stuff, current scene, etc?
Alternately, list everywhere you have been and then the remainders can plead their case.
Go to Denver, Co.
You have to go to Casa Bonita for lunch (technically in Lakewood, but whatever). It isn't good food, but hey South Park did an entire episode about Casa Bonita.

Why don't you go to California? That is one very big state full of very big cities full of very awesome things to do, and also awesome people.
Parts of CA a beautiful, but everyone I've ever met there has been afflicted with a detached view of reality and a narcissism which borders on clinical.
TO SEE ME. err..
Srsly. I'd say Wisconsin in the summer. You'd enjoy the weather.
You need to return to NYC. I have nothing to do with this. Your friends here and memories do.
(and me)
@ipe: It's not that I don't want to see people, but that if I don't limit people, I will get 38358301 posts saying, "Come to ___ and see meeeee!"
Approximately.
I've enjoyed my trips to San Francisco and Seattle. Fuz has told me Philly is a great town, and I want to see Chicago. I wouldn't mind getting to AZ so I could see the crater.
I think a trip like this is more about you than anything else. I go back to Spokane and have a good time b/c I'm hanging out with my friends + family. I'll go to wherever and just make the best of it-you'll get to have the experience, and that's what's important.
Chicago and Philly are not bad places to visit, in truth. I like Seattle and San Francisco as well. I'm got a soft spot in my heart for Baltimore and DC, but I don't know that'd I'd expect you to visit them. (DC is more tourist friendly than Baltimore.) Portland's quite nice, but that might seem like an inducement to come visit, which is not my intent. Per se.
If I were you, I'd throw darts at a map of the US. Stop when a thrown dart intrigues you.
Go to Las Vegas. I know you like figurative cheesiness, and you know you like figurative cheesiness, and Las Vegas is like a city constructed of metaphorical Velveeta.
@val No doubt of that; I meant the question more as to what're you interested in seeing from a city so you can create an excellent synergy of city features, climate, and cool, cool peeps.
@ABoyNamedArt: 1. It's only valid in the continental US.
2. I'm planning on spending a year in Ireland. I intend to travel within Europe during that time, as well.
@ipe: I want to DO things, but I don't want to go crazy. Something to DO can include spending a day at the beach or hiking through a forest or something. Like, St. Louis has the City Museum, Florida has beaches, DC and New York have museums, New Orleans has food and fortune tellers.

Lake Placid is beautiful and peaceful. So is Bar Harbor.
Fuck I need a vacation.
