contact dermatitis seems to make a nicotine patch not work so well.

It's better if you can do it without an aide - three days and the nicotine is completely out of your system, everything else is mental/will power.
The only place I could really get patches to stick to me was on my tits - don't ask why. It's not like I'm hairy or oily or have dry skin.. just the only place they worked for me. Maybe because my bra holds it on too?
But for suggestions if you decide to go that route - there are LARGE sized band-aids that cover the entire area of the patch and then some, and they stick much better. :) Put the patch on, but the band-aid on, and you're good to go for 24.
oh the patch stays on. my skin gets so irritated that the nicotine doesn't seep through so well, it seems. more than 36 hours after i took off the patch, the area on which it was stuck is still red and irritated.
Oh yea.. I used to have that just after taking one off. It's prolly the glue that irritate you then. Try a different brand?

i have been over 19 hours without a source of nicotine at all. this is less than good.
