So far, hacking is MUCH easier (and gives you bonuses for hacking it "right"), and hard is actually kinda hard - hard enough at least that getting the "don't use vita-chambers" achievement is already shot.

So far, my only weapons are the drill, the rivet gun, and a gun that allows you to hack from a distance, so I can't say at this point if there's an El Ammo Bandito or not.

how's the point of view of a big daddy and not just a human? I'm curious to see how having powers and mutations is going to work.

So far, you're a bit slower (obv, you're in a huge diving suit) but seem to take a bit more damage, though it's hard to tell as I'm playing through on hard. I just got a machine gun, so we'll see how that works here shortly I'm sure. Using plasmids seems to work just like it did when you were a human.

Well, while I'm getting more used to FPS games on console, I am still way better at them with keyboard/mouse. So, PC is still more of an advantage for me.
Also, most RTS games are ass on console.

however i'll be the first to admit the PC gaming market is dead. Nothing takes advantage of cutting edge hardware because everything gets scaled back to work on consoles. And most games are cross platform and i don't hate controller SO much that i wouldn't play a shooter on xbox.
however since i'm a colossal nerd I like having the BEST POSSIBLE experience playing a game so I have a PC Gaming rig. I couldn't even fathom playing Dragon Age on a console.

I only play PC games when:
a. I don't feel like waiting for gamefly (usually not a problem... I play CoD all day anyway).
b. It's not available on Xbox (RTS games)
c. The console port is crap (Counter-Strike)
That's rare though... And there's so many games you can put on a console and not PC. Music games, racing games, fighting games...
And you don't have to worry about CDs, CD keys, lag, bugs (to some extent), dwindling multiplayer numbers or paying a few hundred bucks every year for a new video card, god forbid you need a new CPU and RAM.

Ok, gathering ADAM is a BITCH - at least on hard. I can't get past the second gather to save my life. I was so close once, and now I don't have the money, health kids, EVE, or trap rivets to get past it. SUPER frustrating.

@Noel - I think it's officially released today. Paully has found a place that often beats street date on games.

To be fair, it is officially out today.
A piece of advice, especially if you're playing on hard: once you get ready to gather ADAM, do a manual save once you think you have enough weapons to defend your little sister - that way if you fail, you can restart with your high level of health/eve/ammo instead of falling into the worlds shittiest mobius strip of spawn, start gathering, die after two splicers, repeat.

I hate you. I blew too much money this weekend so now I have to wait till Friday to pick up Bioshock.
