There are tornadoes, which we usually do not have, hail and some serious rain.
I've been kind of whiny due to my transportation woes, but managing to make it to and from with little to no soakage.

Apparently, we had HAIL this morning! I was asleep. But, yes, this weather is crazy. I hate driving in the rain with Californians, because they have no clue what they're doing.

pretty damn gloomy. it's been an interesting week in that it's been a rollercoaster ride for me, and the weather has just dogged me the whole time...

i remember once, about 8, 9 years ago, i was just getting out of work, and the sky was really dark and weird, and then it suddenly started to hail. fast. BIG chunks of hail. for like ten minutes.... and then it stopped. the street was covered in a thick coating of icy slush. and then....the skies cleared. and everything was red-orange like in a Jerry Bruckheimer movie.
absolutely THE most amazing weather phenomenon i've ever beared witness to.
When so cal weather gets weird, it goes really extreme

i don't! this was pre-cell-phones-with-camera days....
only thing to rival it was driving back from SB once during a Malibu fire season, and it got darker, and darker, and darker, until finally it was almost impossible to see, and ash and these great billowing clouds of smoke were rolling down the freeway. unreal. i wish i had a camera then, too
'cause this weather is BANANAS. B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
