Does anybody out there download (legally or not) just single songs anymore? I can't remember the last time I didn't DL the whole album, even if I deleted half the songs after the first listen.

I do. I often check out bands on myspace or other free blogs, then just download the songs I like. I figure I can come back for other ones later.

even when I do I put them into the CONTEXT of albums and mixes. And not just a play list either, I change the tags to something like "Singles 2009" or "Rock Band DLC Vol. 1" and give them all nifty album art and shit. For my yearly singles mixes I try to find the singles cover art for each song. Yes this is my life and it's quite sad.

I'm too retarded to figure out how to use torrents so yes, I do just download one song at a time. I'm not an album person. Lack of care about musical organisation outweighs the shame on this occasion.

Yeah, I'll be out somewhere and Shazam a song then go home and get it. If I still like it some time later, I'll investigate the rest of the album/discography
