My first grad school app deadline is two weeks away, and one of the profs I had lined up to write a letter of recommendation has gone AWOL over the last six weeks. I'm starting to freak out.

Well, I emailed half a dozen times over the last six weeks, the last being sent two weeks ago. All went unanswered. And considering the semester ends tomorrow, I don't know how much she'll be in the office over break. But, it's worth a shot.
I've been completely fucked by someone for a letter of rec.
So I'd camp out at their office.
Well, she got it done, so that worry is gone. Now, I have to worry about the fact that she's mailed out a letter recommending me to be a great school counselor when I'm applying to community counseling programs, and how much the admissions panels are going to care.

Granted, I have all the recommendation letters I need for the first school, but I didn't realize that when I gave her this deadline almost two months ago. One would think that since the deadline for the first is approaching, she'd have it done by now. The last thing I want is being short a letter screwing me out of the chance to go to my grad school of choice.
