Coding ain't easy.
I just downgraded a gorgeous Flash slideshow into Javascript. I don't know whether to cry or congratulate myself on still remembering anything about Javascript. I should charge time and a half for this abomination.

Ouch. Then again, with libraries like script.aculo.us, you can still pull off some rather impressive looking sites for not having Flash.
I, on the other hand, get to explain to my boss tomorrow why the demo he wants will be changed dramatically (and thus, not worth showing tomorrow) by the director's new "requests". My boss always acts as if it shouldn't take any time to create new site features even when they fundamentally change the data model. Oh yeah, and I'm the only person working on the project.
Coding's not the hardest part, it's bosses, PMs and clients that make life hell.
even the idea of doing shell scripts is frightening to me
