I wish he would come back here. It's been 6 weeks of "foolish love" on repeat since I saw him at a bar.

blah. he was such a douche when i met him back in 2001 and i just can't love him anymore.
@ adam: I love his work too. Did you see that Leonard Cohen documentary a couple years back, "I'm Your Man?" It centred around an evening of Leonard Cohen's music played by mostly Canadian artists (at a concert hall in Australia, for some convoluted reason), and Rufus' covers were amazing.
@ des: Yeah, I've heard he unironically refers to himself as a "superstar". Can't say I have any real desire to meet the man in person.
i don't mean to sound like a douchebag, but i'm so glad that you are listening to "foolish love" and his older stuff. i was lost after poses. poses was just so amazing. oof
i've met him and he was pleasant enough. hands down the gayest man i have ever met.
@ansonia: the sad thing is that i found his mannerisms onstage totally charming. again, this was 2001. in any case, he was just such a cranky little diva when we spoke that i lost all interest in him.
Oh my goodness, he's such a sexy bitch. Put a man behind a piano and I get all hot and bothered.

It was solo. Piano and Guitar songs only. Old + New.
I still haven't come down from the cloud :(
6 weeks.
