I have been up for a couple of hours now and that kind of annoys me.

Yup. Sucks. But eh, friend's panel is today at nine, so here I am.
Maybe I'll take a nap later. Or just hit up the pool.
@Combustible Monkey On the bright side if you get your lazy start to the weekend out of the way earlier, you have more time to go out and do things. Why not go out for breakfast?
I'm hoping to take a nap soon. Is it a nap if it's still morning? I don't know.
I just wish it wasn't so damned cold in here.
@Make Art: That's not a terrible idea. I AM kinda hungry.
However, I would probably have to venture fairly far afield, for while there are really great breakfast places in my neighborhood, they always have lines a mile long.
I've been asleep, on & off since roughly 6 pm yesterday... I think this is what happens when I work approximately 39 days in a row.
Aaaahhhh.
Back from breakfast. Sorry, Gabe, I kinda vamoosed as soon as Make Art made the suggestion.
Aaaanyway, I did find a place in my neighborhood that wasn't super crowded - just this neat little mom-and-pop hole in the wall run by this little old Asian couple and populated almost exclusively by a clientele of pensioners.
The food was 100% completely standard greasy spoon breakfast, nothing funky like I'd get at Dottie's or Brenda's, but executed well, so I'm satisfied.
You know, it's strange walking around out there. It's 10:30, but things still seems kinda sleepy and slow - not entirely deserted, but in no hurry to get out of bed.
I dunno if it's the holiday or the cloud cover or what.
Well, time to play some Ghostbusters.
We found New Mexican food for breakfast. I'm happy. Off to barbeque in the fog in a few. Anybody got fireworks plans for tonight?

There is absolutely no reason I should be up two hours earlier than I am on days that I actually work.
It's not like I'm doing anything. I'm just sitting in my apartment, slightly chilly, and unable to sleep until a decent hour.
