people die from cancer all the time, and a number of my family have succumbed to cancer. her batter was so incredibly moving for me, though, even though i've watched immediate family members die of liver cancer first hand. so sad, so real, and a great loss. she's missed.

The thing that is crazy about this is the REASON she died is from refusing standard medical treatments and insisting on totally insane alternative crap that was useless.
