Aw, I thought he was going to come up and say "ZOMG (or the out-loud equivalent), you're in The Gay Incest Brothers!" That would have been awesome.

ha! that would, indeed, be amazing. we've had a name change though -j, we are now called 'me and mrs jonas'. much to twigby and others' disgruntlement.
HOWEVER, jamie refused to say our band name last night PROBABLY BECAUSE HE'S SECRETLY ASHAMED.

also, NO clearly it's not more embarrassing, i think jamie is just hesitant to really OWN the fact that we are a jonas brothers cover band. we just sang 'single ladies' last night which is, perhaps, SLIGHTLY more credible to cover.

YES, in a warped way. mainly because the people we were playing to last night would be more likely to know a beyonce song rather than a jonas song (i mean, they're all raging indie kids, but they're still more likely to have heard SINGLE LADEEZ.) and because of the way we interpreted the song ETC ETC it went down really well.
i think if we went up and were like 'OK WE'RE GONNA DO LOVEBUG BY THE JONAS BROTHERS' everyone would just be like 'eh?' BUT, OF COURSE, that is actually our best song and wel'l win them all over should we do it next time.

When they called our names, they just said `Next up, is Kirsty!!!`. So i walked up to the stage first and all i could hear were whispers 'He`s not Kirsty` `Is his name Kirsty`.
Needless to say, we rawked it. All the indie kiddies at the front had constant smiles on their faces throughout.

i was walking up the stairs from the toilets, just MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS, when a guy stops me and goes 'HI! you were singing weren't you? well done, that was great!' he was handsome and had a winning smile. then he shook my hand and i was all 'OH THANKS, THANK YOU!' BUT I HAD SLIGHTLY WET HANDS BECAUSE I'D JUST WASHED THEM AND I WAS SCARED HE THOUGHT I WAS JUST SWEATY OR SOMETHING.
