I already partied for St. Patrick's Day. I went to a roller derby bout yesterday and hit Charlie O's for the after party.
What, you didn't hear that St. Patrick's Day was moved to the 15th this year by the Irish bishops to avoid conflicting with Holy Week? What kind of Catholics are you people?

there is no way i'm setting foot near a bar. it'll be amateur hour out there. i'll likely drink a smithwick's or two at home.
corned beef and cabbage may be in order. or maybe i'll just get my corned beef in the from of a reuben.

I've always done my best to avoid St. Patrick's Day. But today I accidentally walked past a parade of marching bands and bagpipers, and I kind of liked it. I'm weirdly susceptible to Amazing Grace on bagpipes.
