I can't stand female vocalists, but I can't help singing along to god damned 'I'm Just A Girl'. OH THE INTERNAL CONFLICT.

Oh Britt, the only type of vocalist you can be is female. And aren't you glad you're singing along to last century's Gwen Stefani instead of this century's Gwen Stefani?
Well yeah. I have a horrible memory of some girly-girl party I went to four years ago and they were all jumping around singing 'Hollaback Girl' and I felt really awkward and also kind of proud of myself because I didn't know it.
Female vocalists are only acceptable if they're like, Heart or Grace Slick. Otherwise, no deal.
I heart Rilo Kiley and Regina Spektor and Amy Lee's voice (though not her music) and Heart and others I am certain to recall at some later point. And yes, even Gwen Stefani during her no-shit No Doubt "I was in middle school when this came out!" days.
GAH. Don't ever mention that song again, lest it get stuck in my head as well.

Also I am so bored I've overcome my fear of posting here despite the fact I lurk for hours everyday. I think I may even paint my nails.
