Obsession.
Does anyone else go through stages of obsession?
Things I am currently obsessing over:
1. tattoos [I need another one. It's time. My tattoos always revolve around relationships, and as one just ended, it is time for another. Until I scrounge up the money, I am sated by looking at other tattoos. Do you have any? Pictures? Do you want one? Tell me about it.]
2. m. seriously, an email and I'm happyhappygiddy and by the end, teary because damn, i miss her sometimes. Who do you miss? Do you have any missed connections [a la craigslist]?
3. change. new haircut, new job, new clothes, new [hopefully soon] tattoo, new hobbies [paint, sketch, cut and glue]. i am a canvas. i am evolving.

Right now I'm obsessed with knitting. I have been for a year now and it shows no signs of abating. I have a huge pile of yarn to work through.
@Namrok: I'm glad the bloody learning curve ended and led to awesomeness. I am rather picky about razors, too. I love when you want something so badly and when you get it, it is just as wonderful as you had imagined. Yay. I like Tae Kwon Do. Obsessing over fitness and exercise=good. Unless it's, you know, fanatical. Getting the tattoo would be an excellent incentive to go into business for yourself. DO IT.
@jamberry: Nice tattoos! Thanks for sharing. I really want to learn to knit..
@justjackie: I want to go into business for myself. The dilemma is I need at least a years worth of living expenses saved up while I get off the ground. And then I have to PRAY that what I do on my own can keep up. Alternatively, I can bust my fucking ass and start working on my own projects while still keeping my day job, then transition over when the income seems right. But I simply don't have the time for that.
What I need is a sugar mama.
i'm obsessed with tats as well, i want to add on to mine SO SO SO SO badly but i have no money, and this upsets me.
i'm really obsessed with being active. i go to the gym every day, i take dance lessons twice a week, volleyball once or twice a week, and i'm really starting to get into squash
4. Writing that echoes my secrets.
5. Chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce.
6. Photography.
7. Dexter.
8. Tegan and Sara.
Oh god, how I love Dexter.
I want to have his fun internal witty banter in my head. You know, minus the whole I need to kill someone bit.
DAMNIT I JUST TYPED THINGS AND MY MUM'S STUPID IE BROWSER DELETED THEM.
DAMN YOU IE. DAMN YOU STRAIGHT TO HELL.

I was obsessed with straight razors for about 2 years. Finally I bit the bullet and got one. Been shaving with it for about 6 months now and aside from a somewhat bloody learning curve I love it.
I was obsessed with boxing for about 4 years. Sadly the nearest boxing gym was almost an hour away from where I live, so I went with Tae Kwon Do instead. Now I'm more obsessed with that than I ever was with boxing. I still hit the speed bag and heavy bag on the weekends though.
I've had an obsession with getting an Ouroboros on the back of my left hand since highschool. But since I'm a professional, that is so out of the question, you have no idea. However, if I ever go into business for myself, that will be my reward to myself.
