Tell me WHY you believe.

i believe in me because i'm never wrong.
but...when i am wrong, i know it.
I try my best not to believe anything. The more you believe the more of your brain you're letting atrophy because you already have the answer.
I don't think the religious, the spiritual, or those who have faith in some form of supreme being necessarily follow that pattern. IF they wrestle with these concepts and have a little common sense about themselves.

@acid: ...Very stimulating indeed =)
@HIGHrophant: I guess I see what you mean, but I find it hard not to believe ANYTHING at all. I believe that I'm you know, alive and such. I believe in obvious reality.
It is hard not to believe in anything -- I admit that. I do have beliefs, but I try to re-term them as "sneaking suspicions" so that I still think of them.
And obvious reality requires no belief, you already know! Or do you... :P

....whatever it is that you believe.
