In-Car Speaker Phones
People that call me from in-car speaker phones and don't tell me that their parents or children are in the car with them deserve what they get. I love how their smug "I'm techno savy" tone goes strait to shock and embarrassment. Speaker phones are Russian roulette people, and if your 3 year old hears the word "cock" come out of the car's speakers...it's on you.

Agreed. It's your responsibility when you answer the phone in a public context to IMMEDIATELY tell the person who called you.
Otherwise, all bets are off.
Now if they *tell* you they're in a car with their kids and you say 'cock' - that's another story.

Precisely why I don't ever think I'd want something like that. Not because I'm afraid of offending a three year old, but because sometimes I want to keep my conversation between me and the person on the other end of the phone.
