I am sad and worried about the results of today's primary election.

A knockout blow would have been better for the Democratic Party cuz Hillary can't beat McCain. Nor can she secure the nomination mathematically, it seems.
Oh joy.
I am not super anti-Clinton, but I also think that she can't beat McCain. I also think McCain vs Clinton will be very, very divisive and will be a refighting of the Vietnam war battle still going on in their baby boom brains.
I don't know if it's even that. Clinton is just so divisive that I can't imagine her beating anyone in a Presidential race. 'cept Romney.
It should be noted that Barack Obama still has the lead in terms of delegates earned from the primary voting, so this not an outright loss. Battle/War.
What this election has taught me is that the party system in this country, which I always took to mean a simple DEMOCRATS vs REPUBLICANS, is much, much, much more complicated, obtuse and hair-brained than I ever imagined. I now long for the days when the debate was, "Why can't we have a third party?" because it has now become, "OMG, we must immediately have a revolution and tear down this horrifying, corrupt and insanely inefficient, undemocratic system!"
I just think they are too of that era, is all.
also, telecom immunity bill, wtf.
I want Obama to hold out some large pistols and whip her to her doom, but that is only because she went there and she benefited from her nasty nasty tactics.
Eh, no worries. He's got her tamed.
See?

At this point, the Dems' infighting only strengthens the McCain camp.
The big question for me is where do I move to? I really don't have much faith in America anymore, and each day that passes, I loose just a little bit more. Democracy in it's present state in this country has reached the end of it usefulness - corporate power and greed has usurped it.
"OMG, we must immediately have a revolution and tear down this horrifying, corrupt and insanely inefficient, undemocratic system!"
Oh, if only.

I don't want Obama to go dirty. That shouldn't be necessary!
@Ben: Agreed, but you've got to admit it's a damn funny picture. C'mon, you chortled. I heard you.
Also, how did you make the wee downthumb?
There isn't much time for the democrats to have infighting if I am thinking right. After the nomination, I have a feeling unity will be back. And the math still favors Obama.
Can't we just like, slash Hillary's tires?
That'll help, right?
Or at least make us feel better.

I was really hoping for Obama to be the clear nominee after today. Now it seems like this will go on for another month or so. Clinton's wins mean that they will probably continue with their "kitchen sink" policy of attacking Obama. And I feel like whoever wins now, both candidates will be sullied by the process.
