Someday, I will write a story about this. And it will be cyberpunk.

Whoa! Did Sterling already write something this set in Tennessee?
This is awesome. Having spent time in a double-wide, this takes the proverbial cake.
I can't decide if my favorite part is the windmill on top of the green and white trailer, or the adorably tiny orange and white trailer.
i saw this the other day. i want to live there. i have land in minnesota, anyone want to make a place like this with me?
@Aartaud: Friends of mine lived in a very nice double-wide. It had a fireplace, two baths (the master was a jacuzzi!) and a kitchen with an island. We were just NOT allowed to call it a "trailer."
n()mi: Well, I lived in a very crappy trailer briefly and a somewhat nicer one for years. Wasn't so much the trailer as the surrounding environment itself wasn't exactly what I'd call salubrious.
That list of things that you mentioned, however, is a lot to cram into a double-wide. The bedrooms must've been tiny.
That is so incredibly cool. I've seen people push two together to make a double-double, but I've never seen anything this badass.
Oh, I'd love to live here with 15 of my favorite people in the world.
I think I saw the little orange trailer listed on Craigslist SF for $1500/month + $2500 deposit. They said they'd only rent it to people whose FICO scores were over 750. Ah, well, sucks to be me.

Trailerpunk!
