YOU CAN GET HIGH OFF NUTMEG WHAT??? HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THIS?
Replies
Do you know what it was like? I am wicked curious and do not entirely trust google.
i was gonna say from what i hear you have to use A LOT of it. why bother? just get some weed.
It was a couple years ago when he talked about it, maybe. Or maybe one year. ONE, TWO, WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE. I think he used about a tablespoon, and it was pretty pleasant. This is accurate, according to him: http://www.truthtree.com/Nutmeg.shtml
Ah, thank you! I actually just got done reading that same thing and was totally turned off by it.
But maybe if i just took less...?
You can get high in some fashion off damn near anything that's bitter, if you have enough. Bitter usually means it has alkaloids in it, and they mess with your neurotransmitters in all sorts of interesting (and potentially harmful) ways. There's some thought that tasting bitterness is an evolutionary protection to discourage us from eating poisonous plants.
Om nom yummynom, NO. I CANNOT. It's exceedingly frustrating; seems there's been a surplus of illegals around for much of my college career so far, and the day i choose to start branching out, POOF. I can't get my hands on a damned thing.
Annabel Lee, shoot.
Centro, interesting. I've heard that about bitterness and poison, and feel like it should discourage me.
Herr Dokterrrrr, that did not make sense to me but i like it anyway.
you might end up getting pretty sick before you get any kind of high. if you're willing to put up with a lot of vomiting, go ahead (and post here while you're tripping so we can fuck with your mind).
Salvia is awesome. Just make sure you get the good stuff (it's not expensive) and remember to keep your eyes open, so you don't get overwhelmed.
i don't think salvia will be legal for much longer, so if you want to try it you should order soon. that shit is intense. i don't like it that much actually, it's not something you want to use on a regular basis unless you're actually trying to make yourself crazy.
Strangeriffic, If i do it alone, i'd lock the door, plunk myself down in front of the old laptop, and plan on lots of not moving. As for salvia... what's it like?
Centro, what i said about salvia. Or asked. Yeah, what i asked about salvia.
Ommmm, salviaaaaas?
The first time I did Salvia, it just made colors seem brighter, so the second time I took a huge hit. Within a minute, I had forgotten everything, including my name, the fact that I am a human, etc. I rapidly started recovering my memories, and withing five minutes or so I was able to realize that my eyes were closed, and as soon as I opened them it brought me back to reality. It was an interesting trip though. I recommend keeping eyes open, at least until you have some experience with it, because outside stimulus keeps you grounded in reality.
@om nom nom: quit making fun of the drug-infatuated among us, ok? i think hippie fashion is cool at the moment, for the next few seconds anyway.
more fun facts about salvia:
it is my name in latin.
it tastes fucking horrific.
it has caused me to visually perceive myself as being eleven different people at once, sitting in a row on the couch.
not a great idea to be by yourself the first time you do it, unless you have a lot of experience with other strong hallucinogens. you can't treat it like it's weed.

Yes. One of my friends has done it. Be careful with it, though, because sensitivity varies greatly it seems. He took the dosages recommended in what he was reading, and they were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overkill.
