@soulcamp! You should NEVER put anything on top of a piano! Do you pile crap on your Saxophone? I get sick when I go to someone's house and the piano is covered with vases and picture frames. Somewhere on my "to-do" list is to start a piano rescue organization that goes into homes and rescues abused pianos, and places them in homes that will properly care for them.
