Offsprung: It's GT! for Parents
http://offsprung.com/Hello teammates,
One of the things that has been keeping me super busy is the relaunch of Offsprung.com, a site I run with my frequent partner in crime and author of a variety of funny books and essays, Neal Pollack. Offsprung is a group blog/magazine thing with community stuff integrated into every article or video or whatever. People can also start their own Offsprung blogs. We describe it as a site for people with kids, not a PARENTING site - there are columns about music and movies and celebrities and politics and feminism. And we are trying to make the community area a place where both moms and dads can hang out TOGETHER, instead of being segregated into mommy camp and daddy camp. I like it.
The new version of Offsprung is essentially running the same software as GT!. This will be pretty obvious when you see it. This is one of the reasons I was able to set up GT! so quickly. New features I develop for Offsprung will probably make it over here in one form or another, and vice versa. Neat!
I would appreciate it if you took a few moments to poke around Offsprung, especially if you are a mom or a dad. And if you like what you see, I would REALLY appreciate it if you sent the link out to a few of your mom and dad friends! That would be so great. And Jesus, if you clicked the thumbs up on Stumbleupon a few times, that would just blow my brain right out of my eye sockets.
Thank you ahead of time for being my team, even if you don't end up doing anything I asked. You can still be on my team.

neal pollack's essay in "things i learned from women who dumped me" made me lol @ starbucks.
excuse me, i'm going to attempt to blow ben brown's brain out of his eye sockets.
You're not planning on having any little Bens and Katies [hereby referred to as the BK Lounge] running around, are you?
I can indeed verify the code is the same. I get the same error and black box when I uploaded my profile pic. :^p
OK, even though I pretty much despise 90% of the other people in the world who breed, I have signed up over there and will poke around. I'll keep you posted (on your thread over there) if I see anything wonky.

Makin' babies makes me nervous. Women that tell me that their wombs clench when they see cute children make me EXTREMELY nervous.
Guess I'm kinda nervous.

Looks like I need to get working on having some babies so I can participate on this site too.
