i still can't swipe things properly though. i'm just not good at it.
@twigby: as i just started today, and you live not in ottawa, that may be a little suspicious
@CT: not really, you more help people find stuff, and this morning i was working with a girl who was showing me how to find everything and stock everything and etc
Oh, okay, cool. I hope you don't have to deal with mean people ever!
shelving. ah, how i do not miss it.
still, bookstores were by far my most enjoyable work experience.
@jay def: i do now!!! the fourth largest in canada by volume, as well. woo!
@ct: oh man! i got to help people today, and it was like all the fun parts about interacting with people at a restaurant and NONE OF THE BITCHY

I always kinda wanted to work in a bookstore. Mainly because I love books. :)
@el indio: see i'm still all new, so i don't mind it. and since its something i've never ever done before i'm like ooooou its like a puzzle! because we have retarded amounts of christmas stock. its like tetris almost.
Cool! I like my job (tech support) when I am dealing with people who aren't complete assholes, which is most of the time, but every once in a while some jerk ruins my day!

my new job is great
