I often find December babies to be super narcissistic about thier birthdays.
When this month rolls around so many born of this month we get so many threads that say "OH, HEY GUYS, MY BIRTHDAY IS NOW/IN A FEW DAYS" to make sure everyone knows. I think it has to do with competing for attention with the festive holidays when growing up. That said.. MY BIRTHDAY IS NEXT WEEK! DEC. 11 OMG!

no see that's the thing, OTHER people recognize babies from other months. DECEMBER babies are all about them, and pointing it out themselves. they don't celebrate together or feel a kinship because they see each other as compeition.

I love my birthday and everyone else's-birthdays are just rad in general.
Also, when I read this post, I was about to comment and then my brain went "IT'S A TRAP!" hehe
I understand the competing with the holidays thing, people are either out of town or have holiday parties to go to, etc. I always wished my birthday was in the summer...
also, 2 in 1 gifts are lame when you're a kid

I think with December babies, or at least for me since my birthday is so close to Christmas, I feel that I have to let people know when my birthday is so that way it is not overlook due to the Christmas season.

my dad's is the 26th and his parents used to forget it every year. we always make a pretty big deal of it because of this.

I don't know too many december kids. . .but the few I do know don't like the cold very much. . !?
a buddy of mine was born on the 25th.
I celebrate that instead of christmas.
Nuh uh man, June babies get all the attention. Remember when my birthday was coming and then everyone else was like OMG MINE TOO GEMINIS 4 LYFEEEEE.
