what to vegan zombies eat?
GRAAAAAIIIINNNNNSSSSSSS
(i love that joke...though usually i just do vegetarian, but this works too.)
i am usually pretty anti-tofu, only in that i've always thought it tasted like ass.
i did, however, go to this little cafe/coffee shop i love on Sunday and had a wild rice/vegetable/tofu bowl that was wonderful. (except for the couple chunks of tofu that captured the burnt taste of the grill they were cooked on - tofu has that horrible habit of taking on the odor/taste of whatever it's around, and it was pretty ungood. those particular pieces i mean.) i thought to myself "i could actually eat this once or twice a week, and be ok with it."
though i went for chinese yesterday w/a friend and they ordered Orange Tofu, while i had Orange Chicken - i just don't think i'm ready to go there.
This is totally unpractical in traditional zombie fiction terms. They might as well have called it Undead Vegan. Assumedly it's a story of someone continuing to commit to a drearily socially responsible lifestyle after death, while most of the world continues to eat steak and not care.
I can foresee NO ensuing hilarity.

I've always said that tofu is pretty fucking frightening, but nobody ever believes me.
