The original idea was to do it as a book (in fact, all the scripts and images and stuff live in ~adam/books/nes/) but then I realized books were hard.
But getting the colors and everything right would be really hard and expensive.

@adam: for that many images, it would probably be pretty time consuming to convert all the colors to pantones. You could try cmyk though. They should be "close enough."
you wouldn't use pantone anyways since it's a 4 color book. it's CMYK all the way and ben's right, that's the pub. house's job. Adam, remind me in Austin... this is easy to make happen if you want to do it.
