"King said he wasn't intending for the display to be racist and that he tried to make it as tasteful as possible.

"We went out and bought nice pants from Nordstrom," King said."

yeah, the mannequin itself isn't all that offensive, but the KKK-like figures all around him? WOW.

Pretty tame really. There ARE racist displays out there and I don't think the skull-faced non-pointy-headed ghosts are offensive. I can see the possibility, but it's fuzzy and I don't think it is intentional.

I do disagree with the man politically and find it sad that he believes the socialist crock.

I also find it strange that I sit through a Holiday Inn advertisement before seeing the 'news' story on a program whose byline is "Where the News Comes First".

Racist? No, not really. I don't think it's intentionally so. Those are just Halloween ghosts.

Fucking stupid and misinformed? Goodness, yes.

i don't think the ghosts are intentionally racist, but you have to be pretty dense not to see how it could be seen in the wrong light.

Uncanny MONCHICHI said, (70 days ago)

Well, yes, but I think the man has already proven his density with his initial premise.

yeah i think he just didn't really think things through. he obviously isnt intending to be an asshole if he takes it in at night so that people don't fuck with it.

i just think he's a bit dumb thats all.

Upon listening to the man's video interview, it's clear that he didn't mean anything racist by it...but he's still a bit of a dope for the socialist thing. And the nordstrom slacks.
