sezrah, i'm so sorry. (that's not really me taking responsibility, but rather me commiserating and showing shame for the actions of my #($(%*& state.)

this horrible chemical is made in only one place in the world.
ALABAMA. yay.
From HuffingtonPost and my DailyKos diary:
Both of these poisons have been called 'super poisons' by the FBI, and have been cited as lethal toxins likely to be used by terrorists to harm Americans...the CIA's Iraq Study Group (ISG) discovered Compound 1080 in the possession of Saddam Hussein's Iraqi Intelligence Service (IIS) in 2003.
Oh my god. That's the worst thing I've ever seen.
I hate living in Alabama.
hey YOU. :)
didja see the topnotch security on that facility? think someone could break in and steal a buncha poison if they wanted?
Let's go burn it to the ground!
And then it'll get in the air and we will all super die a lot. Nevermind.
on the bright side though, voter registration has officially hit a record high in alabama, breaking 1992's previous record of 2.88 million.
hopefully they're all democrats.
menda--when you vote, vote SEGALL. rogers took a shitload of money from tull corporation. uh, that MAKES that horrifying stuff.
Unlikely that they are. I have heard more times than I should that "we should all go vote. It's so important. We don't want that crazy muslim terrorist in office."
The right wing Southern Baptists are scared shitless.
Fucking hell. Horrible.
And the thing with the dogs.
Ghostie is so so so pissed.
Dude, Leah. I will never vote for Mike Rogers, for anything he could ever run for in the future.
uh, jeez. see, i don't hear that kinda shit. maybe i'm too "ethnically questionable" looking. LOL.
Your inlaws don't have four identical McCain/Palin signs in their yard.
hi ghostie. that video was 50 years old, fyi. which doesn't change the fact that dogs all over new zealand have accidentally ingested that nastiness. :(
i feel really shitty, even though i'm just a resident.
OMIGOD are you serious??? there are exactly TWO yard signs in my whole neighborhood.
one in mine, one 8 doors down. i'm not of fan of the other one.
Minx: Yeah, I read that and I understand that 50 years ago that was how things were done.
What pisses me off is that peoples pets are gobbling this stuff up.
No my stalker is not the good kind. He found my sister on facebook and begged her for my number. He's shown up at my club numerous times. He's since been banned.
I don't think he is going to keep messing with me. On a happy note, I've been spending time with a guy who makes me very swoony. He lets me fall asleep with my head on his chest when we watch movies together and he doesn't judge me for my past including the abortion.
and you're able to sleep like that?? WOW. i wish i could do that. he must be comfy!
xxoo
Indeed he is. I actually trust him. I've told him things that were should have sent him running and included tears. He just let me cry and held me. And soak his shirt.
oh jeez. Yeah, I'd never heard of this stuff either, but it comes as absolutely not surprise to me that they manufacture it in Alabama. I think our state sells itself a little too easily for industry, sometimes. There are a ton of paper mills and chemical plants down in Mobile, and I saw some local grassroots documentary one time that had some EPA data about how, for some particularly irritating kind of airborne chemical, Mobile county had the second highest concentration of it, after Los Angeles. Yikes!

i just found out about this horror show. (totally horrifying. animal lovers be careful)
