i don't think it's a hate crime, but i think it's interesting that (based on my reading of the article) people are more likely to consider it a hate crime when it involves a black man than a woman.

of course it's apples and oranges, but it's interesting.

More news coverage on it today!!! It was insane I think they devoted a whole 30 minute block to it. Had a phone call from Palin's daddy talking about how it made him feel. LAME!
