I FUCKING LOVE IT. And I haven't even really seen the movies, haha.

I haven't seen it, BUT I did get to see the panel at wondercon. It sounds like an awesome show.

I keep wondering if it will be canceled before or after John and Cameron fall in love.

My general thoughts are: "Do not watch it."

@TWF: Awww, you got to go to WC? Luckyyyyyyy. And yeah, it's pretty awesome.

@ipe: John will probably fall in love, but Cameron... meh, I don't think they'll ever allow her as a machine to fall in love. Even though she could learn to go through the motions, she'll still be lacking the emotions.

@Corey Hart: Porque? :P

@topherific: It's a bastardized television adaptation of a movie from over 20 years ago.

If I'm going to bring myself to watch network television, it has to at least be fresh material.

I gave it a shot, but too much exposition, not enough T-PG-13 trying to blend in.

@Tophy: Maybe she'll be touted as "fully functional".

Overall, no, don't think I'm going to bother with this. I find it cheesy that an adaptation was created.

How long 'til the Cameron/Data slashfic pops up?

Tophy said, (278 days ago)

Ahaha, wow, not as popular as I imagined it would be here. And I like new spins on things that are still nostalgic for me, which is probably why I like shows like this. Etc.

@ABNA: I'm sure it's already out there, haha.

@Tophy: I heard that one of the terminators set off a metal detector for comedic relief. Apparently this goes against the original movies.

the show has some problems, but also some potential. you can tell (annoyingly) when on occasion they must have been instructed by network idiots to put in some cheesy line. but overall, i think the writing is smart, with attention to intelligent details.
mostly though, i just love robots. robots and vampires. i think there should be a tv show, set in an apocalyptic futurescape, where robots and vampires fight each other, fall in love, and angstily ponder their true natures. basically the buffy connor chronicles.
