OKAY GUYS, Let's talk about this trivia show thing.
The interested parties that have posted in both Corey's thread and my thread are the following, so if you're on the list, you should definitely read this:

This is going to go down PROBABLY sometime next week. I would prefer the first half of the week but I'm not fooling anyone, I'm obviously free for whatever. So if you guys wanna come up with the best time for you to participate, then we can make a decision based on that.
Right now there are 14 interested parties. Assuming a couple people can't participate, we can probably work it out to have either 3 teams of four people, or 4 teams of three people. So, basically, twelve contestants would be ideal. You all can choose your own teams but you have to post what teammates you want so I can get it right.
THIS IS HOW THE GAME WILL WORK:
Everyone will be on Skype. As long as one member of your team has a mic, then not everyone will need one, but you HAVE to be on Skype.
There's going to be 30 questions broken into two rounds. The questions will be half Consu/GTI Trivia, and half regular trivia pulled from my TRIVIAL PURSUIT game. Because.. yeah. That.
FIRST ROUND:
- 14 questions worth 5 points
- 1 bonus question/challenge worth 10 points.
SECOND ROUND:
- 14 questions worth 10 points
- 1 bonus question/challenge worth 15 points.
How the teams are gonna "buzz in" still has to be worked out because I just realized the system that Corey and I agreed on yesterday won't really work... so.. INPUT? HM? Idk.
ANYWAY. That's the gist of it. There are still details that need to be worked out. If any of the above are still interested, please post in here and start working on your teams. If you're not interested, please still let me know. If you're not on the list but you wanna play, then post somewhere else cos I don't care. NO I'M JUST KIDDING, post in here.

Because in Jeopardy-style, what happens is that the leading contestant chooses which question gets asked, but everyone else still gets to buzz.
Since in this games the teams don't choose the questions, that's not gonna work.

THIS SOUNDS AMAZING. i've got skype so that's fine, and i'm at least 5 hours ahead of everyone so it's likely that i'll be free (if maybe a bit tired) when it happens. I LOVE IT

That's not true. Kirsty expects your voice to be MAGICAL. So we have to prepare so we're not in awe of it, like everyone else will be.
At this point, I do have Skype, but not a working microphone. (The one I originally bought is a piece of junk.) If I can remember to get one in time, I will...otherwise I understand there is still old-fashioned typey-chat?
