I'll admit, their surge in the polls has influenced me somewhat.

I also hate Harper, and if they're the ones to unseat him then sure, why not?

Who's your current MP, TWIGBy?

TWIGBy Fierce said, (52 days ago)

Derek Lee of the liberal party

that's another reason why I'm voting liberal, the guy has been noting but a total stand up guy for the community (i've had the privledge to meet him a few times in my life) and he really understands our needs.

Also dude always wins in a landslide

Yeah, my riding is pretty well a lock too. I'm in one of the most socialist neighbourhoods in Canada...the NDP could run a brick here and it would win.

Oh, man, I love that you guys get to have candidates that describe themselves as "liberals" and "socialists". I bet they don't even have to wear Canada flag pins all the time.

American politics suck.

If I was Canadian I'd always write in Scott Stevens for MP. yeah i know he was american, so what.

dude the party itself is called the Liberal party!

My Canadian boyfriend is such hypocrite.

If I didn't vote I would never hear the end of it. When I ask if *he* is voting he says "Eh, not important."

I don't even think he knows who the candidates are.

it the liberal party right or left wing in canada?

-j. said, (52 days ago)

@mlp: in theory, left. (And certainly left of the Conservatives.) But the NDP and Green parties are even lefter.

TWIGBy Fierce said, (52 days ago)

@mlp tradtionally they've been a left leaning party but over the last maybe decade they now lean more to the right as they make some concessions to big business
