W/the lovely brainforest. There's a plan for food on Sat, if you'd like to join us. I'm going wandering around the city tomorrow during the day, too.
I would join y'all, but I think I'll be stuck in the office all day, every day, until the End of Days.
yeah the fact it was my first and most often visited major city (once a month or so) it kinda ruins other "cities" for me.
like for example i was in pittsburgh this weekend and just kinda kept thinking "awe how cute, its like a mini-city."
@H55: dinner is on Saturday, so if you're working then, that's a problem. Not mine, but still...
You're welcome to join us.
You too, Marry.
@Skanko; I haven't had that (as I still love San Fran, and Florence, and London) but NYC is still one of my favorite cities ever.
@JD, well, yes. But apparently you won't go quietly, yes?
/smiles
@superion - well to be honest, out of those three i've only been to london. and that DOES compare. and i loved it there. it was fantastic. but i've never been to a city in the u.s. that i've found as spectacular as nyc. although i should be going out to chicago in the spring and that i've heard is quite nice.
@max: I Don't miss it, but I do love to visit. It's one of my favorite places.
@Skanko: I also would like to get to Chicago. But, each of those cities is different--I love them for different reasons. However, NYC does hold a special zeal for me, just as London holds an energy unto itself, or Florence has a way about it. I'm a slut, I guess.
@marry--and anyone else in NYC; I'd be pleased to meet any of you. Please come if you have the time.
please point me toward the intensity, I've been here a year and yet I don't feel like I've seen much of it.
@superion - no i totally agree about london, it had an amazing feel to it that i doubt could be replicated anywhere else. i would live there in a heartbeat.
@makey: I am here tonight! I would've totally met with you if it had been possible. I didn't know.
@xop: I thought you were further away. You are also welcome to join for food and drinkenings.
In comparison to Portland or Seattle, NYC is a big ol' helping of more.
nah I'm here, but unfortunately I'm headed out of town tomorrow after work for a wedding.
omg, superion! i didn't know you were runamuck! duh.
sorry we crossed coasts. hope you will enjoy my city more in the days to come!

Yeah, it is. Where are you staying?
