I need to get my eyes checked soon. I'm not sure I can afford it even with my vision plan at work right now, though. :(

@Jay: We have this thing called Tex Flex where they give you a loan for medical expenses which they take out of your check each month. It was the only way that we could afford to get glasses. Ben got glasses too.

My work is going to stop subsidizing health insurance next year. I'm going to keep the insurance I have, because it's not too expensive.

I'm wearing a pair from Zenni right now, and I have 2 pairs (including a pair of prescription sunglasses!) on the way from Optical 4 Less. At these prices, I could get a different pair for every day of the week for less money than a single pair at LensCrafters -- and I *have* vision insurance.

I got some new glasses and I love them. I also learned, upon getting new glasses, that I'm sort of in love with myself as well.
