please consider giving me an early (in fact, preemptive) wedding present!

What would you like, cooking ware? I could see you going for cooking ware.
(Also, I thought maybe this was going to be about some new promising guy but YAY prop 8 is still good.)
can I help you register at target? I looooooove playing with that scanner gun they give you. I helped my bff register when she got married, so I scanned stuff I wanted and called it my consultation fee.
thanks, guys. :-)
i know it's pretty illogical, but assuming someday i finally meet the right person, i'd like to have a wedding--you know, where your friends and family come from all over the place to make witty/heartfelt toasts and celebrate with you--but i think i'd just feel too silly sending invitations to a "domestic partnership registration." it's just not the same.
(They're the major out-of-state donors to yes on 8 organizations, I've heard.)

the latest poll shows that if the election were held today, prop 8 would pass in california, meaning millions of other californians and i will lose our right to marry, and go back to being second-class citizens whose relationships are deemed less worthy and less real than those of straight people.
the anti-marriage-equality movement in california has outraised us (about $25 million compared to $15 million, and it appears that it's their advertising that turned public opinion against us). so please, go to http://www.noonprop8.com/home and help us get the message out.
(sorry to repeat this--it's just kinda important to me.)
