How can Sonic Burger be sponsoring a contest that has to do with MTV's The Hills? The nearest Sonic Burger is in Anaheim on Lemon Street! Damn Sonic and their delicious looking ice cream creations!

I have said this before on here, but I kind of loathe Sonic. There is one on every corner here. They used to be amazing, but sometime around the late 90's or early 2000's they started changing all of their ingredients, making them cheaper. This was confirmed by a friend who once worked at a cheese processing facility. She said they manufactured the pre-made cheese sticks and cheddar bites for Sonic and that the quality of the cheese went down.

Their food used to be amazing, but now it is all bullshit.

@khan- Yeah I've eaten at the Sonic in Anaheim and one in Dallas TX and the food was ok, i guess, but they seem to have a different ice cream shake for every hour of the day and thats pretty awesome!

Their ice cream is just soft serve nastiness and their ingredients for the shakes are shit.

No offense. I would just much rather go to a real ice cream place and have them make me a ridiculously amazing shake. I used to get brownie fudge custard shakes at my favorite place back in Missouri. It was pretty fun trying to suck up bits of brownie through the straw. They used real brownies that they baked there on the site.

But you're right that they shouldn't be advertising for The Hills. How come you never see a show sponsored by Bob's Big Boy? Now that would be something.

Although it doesn't make sense to say they shouldn't advertise for it because of location because The Hills on MTV is a national show and Sonic a national chain.

I think I am putting too much effort into this topic. Stupid Sonic headquarters? Why must you be in downtown OKC and why must you be such money grubbing whore mongers. Go back to ingredients that taste good.

True, i would much rather have real ice cream or settle for a shake at in-n-out burger... damn! now i want ice cream! I blame "The Hills" for this!

Khan: I hadn't had Sonic in years 'til I moved to GA, and you're absolutely right. It just doesn't taste as good. The hamburgers taste flat.

It's a bitter disappoint because Sonic counts for haute cuisine in these parts.

I'm told, and I remember this to some degree, that the ones around southern Oklahoma had Pickle-o's (fried pickles). I mean they were cool and catered to regional tastes. I remember one having a special kind of chili dog with sauerkraut or something. Now they are all faceless/tasteless clones.

oh dammit, that's not in anaheim... it's in fullerton. way north of my house and my job. =(((
