I'm due to appear 'slightly naked' (slightly naked being bras and panties only) in a show soon. I'm slightly okay with that, as long as I find the appropriate 'apparel'. IE lingerie. My one stop shop, Torrid is letting me down. Anyone got other ideas or sources.

Think, burlesque. I checked Fredericks, they seem slightly promising.

They (the powers that be) rather have g-strings and the like, but a g-string on me is like cottage cheese and floss. NO CAN DO! I'm allowed at least bra and panties.

I can manage pulling together enough balls to 'own it', but still, some kind of help would be nice. I have a few things already in my possesion that I think I can use. Some kind like waist lacy thing that covers my butt... And some halter thingy...

Corsets are great for no chest, that means you can pretty much go with the generic kind because you don't need a fitting.

the problem with this situation is you probably don't want to spend a lot of money... and the most flattering stuff will be more expensive.

does it have to be plain, or could you embellish it? because adding some long fringe to the bottom of the bra could give you a bit more coverage.

a frederick's corset isn't good for much more than covering the stomach- they don't stand up to cinching, but can be effective for looks. they're not too pricey either, and come in many colors. you could find a corset and a matching lacey boyshort to wear (a nude thong underneath provides you with nether-safety.)

@pepper: Yeah, right now I can't spend too much. I'm lucky I even found out about this this early. I do plan on making a better investment eventually, cause I know this will be required of me (or hell I'll want to do it voluntarily) again in the future.

I'm not worried about squeezing or shaping so much, just want to not burn people retinas. So a little lace here or sheer there... a little less shocking. If that's posssible. :P
