books: i have a hard time reading. i hate reading. so im not reading anything right now. i am about to move all of my design books into the bookshelf my brother just brought up from philly for me.

food: i just went grocery shopping. however. i have no appetite. it doesnt help that im quasisick. and that im quasiupset. [when im upset, the last thing i want to do is eat.] so. today ive eatten apple slices with caramel for dipping. and celery, broccoli, and carrots with ranch for dipping.

drink: i havent had anything to drink today either.

sex: I live in DC, so don't even ask.

music: I saw The Bird and the Bee on Friday, and I ordered the new MC frontalot album (which is really good)

books: I just picked up Death With Interruptions because it seemed like a really fascinating idea- what if death just...stopped?

food: I'm trying not to think about that- endocrine disorder doesn't make that easy.

@FiZ: as someone who just moved out of DC after living there and trying to date there for three years...I am so, so sorry.

music: actually spent the day listening to a bunch of new stuff I hadn't gotten around to. I've stockpiled at least a couple hundred albums that came out in the last year or two, time to start working my way thru them before my iPod bursts.

books: just got 8 more from Amazon this weekend, added it to the other 30/40 in the "to read" pile. Actually had time to do some reading today, i love having a real weekend!

food: I'm stuffed full of paella. Fridge stocked with Whole Foods. And sooo not looking forward to Yom Kippur.

@FIZ: i dated a guy from DC. he was the kinkiest thing ever. like, to the point where he was scary even to me, and that's hard to do.

@strangerbox... i have this weird awkward cold where my throat feels like sandpaper, i cant breathe, and im coughing. its making me nervous cause im super afraid its bronchitis again. i had it from january till april. so its like ugh. no more. but i feel the way i did when it started. annnd im trying to figure out if the boy is cheating on me or not. ha. sooo. its not helping the appetite. ; l. thanks for asking though.

hmm... this guy was an exception to most rules, but he did have the overinflated sense of self-importance.

@sb: After college in this town, the most social interaction you're going to get is drinks with your coworkers. You can go to any bar, club or other function you'd like but nobody talks to anybody they didn't walk in with- period.

music: I just watched Nick+Norah's Infinite Playlist and downloaded the soundtrack. I like it. Other than that the heavy rotation has been The Avett Brothers and The Zombies.

books: I think I am going to start The New Kings of Nonfiction edited by *le sigh* Ira Glass.

food: Thawing out a lamb shoulder to braise with some fingerling potatoes for tomorrow. Later in the week = Taco Bar!
